Aggregate loading methods for mobile batching plants

Two loading methods are usually available for aggregate conveying of mobile and stationary concrete batching plants: bucket loading and belt conveying. The advantages of hopper feeding include low cost, small footprint, and simple structure. The disadvantage is that the feeding speed is not as fast as the belt speed. The advantages of belt feeding are that the feeding is much faster, and the conveying distance is large, the efficiency is high, and the failure rate is low. The disadvantage is that the cost is high.

Generally speaking, purchasers of commercial concrete mixing plants are definitely advised to configure the belt feeding method. The suitable mixing station models for belt feeding methods mainly include HZS60 concrete batching plant, HZS90 concrete batching plant, HZS120 concrete batching plant, HZS180 concrete batching plant and HZS240 concrete batching plant. Because of the high efficiency of belt feeding and transportation, it can quickly complete large-scale operations and improve production efficiency by over 20%; and the belt feeding production cycle is short, and the discharge capacity is large, which is suitable for commercial concrete mixing plants. Smaller models of batching plants are usually equipped with bucket loaders.

With that said, a mobile batching plant should have a bucket loader as the aggregate loading device. This, however, is not the case at all. No matter it’s a small plant like a mobile batching plant 40t, or a large mobile plant of 75m3 per hour, its standard configuration for aggregate loading system is a belt conveyor. Why?

 

Judged by capacity range, all mobile batching plants should be matched with bucket loaders, for their largest capacity does not exceed 75m3. Nevertheless, they have belt conveyors regardless of the capacity. This is to cater for the requirement of high mobility of the plants.
